The Fluffy Optic cleaner head lights up the floor so you can see microscopic dust on hard floors. Its soft nylon and anti-static carbon fibre filaments pick up fine dust, and the low-profile head reaches further under furniture and into tight spaces.
On the Motorbar cleaner head, 43 de-tangling vanes automatically clear wrapped hair from the brush bar as you clean. The 250 mm-wide brush bar suits carpets as well as pet hair and long hair.
Eleven cyclones separate dust from the air, and the fully sealed whole-machine filtration traps 99.99 % of microscopic particles and allergens in Boost mode, expelling cleaner air into your home. In the other modes filtration is at least 99.97 %.
Auto mode adapts suction power for the best balance of power and run time, Eco mode gives a longer run time and Boost mode is made for short, intensive cleaning. The LCD screen shows what the machine is doing and reminds you when the filter needs cleaning, about once a month.
Each click-in battery gives up to 60 minutes of fade-free power, depending on the power mode, dust level, floor type and attachments. The battery detaches with one click and no screws, so it is easy to remove and replace, and a full charge takes about 3.5 hours.
At just 2.37 kg, the V12 Detect Slim is Dyson’s lightest cordless vacuum. It comes with the Motorbar and Fluffy Optic cleaner heads, a combination tool, a crevice tool, a wand clip, a charger and a wall-mounted docking station.
