To start cooking, just place the pan on the hob and then select the required power level on the numeric keypad. The hob detects the container automatically, so there is no need to select a cooking zone or confirm anything. In addition, there are 4 preset power levels, including Boost, KeepWarm, KeepCooking and Brown Quickly, that are pre-programmed for different powers and can be reprogrammed to the setting that is used the most.

The ICS (Intelligent Cooking System) function offers the possibility of placing the cookware on the hob, so that the hob suggests the most suitable zone according to its size. Choose a cooking zone, select the Boost function and press the ICS button to activate the function (light an indicator light to confirm active). If the zone is appropriate, the ICS indicator disappears and the initial settings are displayed. Otherwise, the display shows the most suitable cooking zone and the parameters are transferred there automatically.

A very practical function that brings the required volume of water to a boil very quickly and then automatically reduces the power to the level necessary to maintain a moderate boil. Suitable, for example, for cooking pasta, rice or other types of side dishes.

The Switch function allows the pan to be moved from one cooking zone to another during cooking with pre-set cooking parameters (power level and time). The plate detects the new position of the pan and cooking continues in the new zone with the original settings.
