The RM7L uses discrete red, green and blue LEDs rather than a white or blue backlight filtered through quantum dots, achieving up to 100% BT.2020 wide colour gamut coverage on the 65 inch model. TCL's RGB Precision Dimming technology controls light and colour from the chip level through to the screen, significantly reducing the colour cross-talk that limits conventional Mini LED TVs.
The HVA Pro Panel delivers a native contrast ratio 3 to 5 times that of a standard IPS panel, along with a 0.5% low-reflection film to cut down on screen glare. Combined with RGB backlighting for a wider perceived colour viewing angle, the picture stays punchy and accurate from most seats in the room.
