The Instax Pal is a palm-sized digital camera measuring just 42.3 x 44.4 x 43mm and weighing approximately 41g. In Gem Black, its rounded, toy-like shape is built for everyday carry, whether that means a pocket, a bag, or clipped on with the included detachable ring.
A 16.25mm equivalent wide-angle lens at f/2.2 captures groups and backgrounds with ease. Program AE handles exposure automatically, with sensitivity from ISO100 to 1600 and TTL 256-split multi metering, so shots stay balanced without manual adjustment.
Pairing over Bluetooth with the free INSTAX PAL app unlocks remote shooting with live view, interval shooting in bursts of 3, 6, 11, or 21 shots, and creative extras like filters, text, stickers, and custom pre-shutter sounds.
Photos are saved digitally rather than printed on the spot. The internal memory holds around 50 images, extendable with a microSD or microSDHC card, so shots can be reviewed and edited before deciding what to print.
The Pal can print straight to a Bluetooth-paired INSTAX mini Link, mini Link 2, SQUARE Link, or Link WIDE printer without opening the app, or send images through the app to those printers plus the INSTAX mini Evo and mini LiPlay.
A built-in lithium-ion battery charges over USB-C in approximately 2 to 3 hours, keeping the Pal ready to go without needing disposable batteries or a separate charging dock.
